Tickets to the home games at Gampel Pavillion and the Hartford Civic Center are notoriously hard to get your hands on what with all the season ticket holders, student seating, and general frenzy surrounding college basketball in Connecticut. Seems that ever since the Whalers left town, CT has galvanized around basketball making UConn games the premiere sporting event in the state. So if you are jonesing to be a member of the dog pound, what options are you left with?

Ticketmaster has tickets to Hartford Civic Center games, but those are also part of season ticket packages. Shortly after the on sale date, the pickings are pretty much slim to none.

EBay and Craigslist are worth checking out, there are bargains out there to be sure. Be cautious if you do go that route though as you are buying from the regular Joe and you can run into the occasional scam (tickets never show up, not the seats they claimed, sometimes duplicate tickets!)

Whats left then? So far we are recommending Ticketliquidator.com for UConn Basketball Tickets. Yeah, they are ticket brokers, but in our experience they seem to have the best prices, customer service, and guarantees out there. Yes tickets will probably be over face price, but you are at least buying from a real company with guarantees. Last time I checked, they listed on their home page that they have something like $320,000,000 wort of tickets up for sale at any given time!
